The Brand Story: From Basic Craft Store to Creative Hub

In 2020, Handmade World opened its doors as a modest craft store with a simple goal: to provide quality materials to a local community of creators. We began with just a small sample of products, but our passion for craftsmanship quickly resonated with the online creative community.

As our reputation grew, so did our vision. We evolved from a supply shop into a central destination for makers, stocking everything from professional tools and equipment to a wide variety of Paperpacks, Tag Sheets, and Trunks.

We recently launched our sub-brand, Giftery, bringing a curated selection of cute accessories, kids' products, premium hampers, and makeup to our community. The overwhelming love we've received has only strengthened our commitment to being the heartbeat of your creative journey.

Karishma Modi

Co-Founder & Business Lead

Karishma is the engine behind the brand, overseeing sales, systems, and team execution. Her creative outlook was shaped by a childhood surrounded by rich heritage and art—a foundation that led her to pursue an M.Com and eventually master the specialized craft of handcrafted soft-toy making.

A traveler at heart and a passionate dancer, Karishma brings a constantly evolving perspective to the business. She built Handmade World to be a modern, customer-focused brand rooted in purpose, ensuring that every design we produce serves a meaningful celebration.

Rashi

Founder & Creative Lead

Rashi is the creative visionary behind our bespoke wedding stationery collections. Since starting her first venture in 2019, Rashi has spent over six years refining the art of the "first impression." A self-made entrepreneur and DU alumna, she transitioned a boutique Instagram project into a full-scale stationery house.

For Rashi, design is about intention. She specializes in creating wedding suites that balance modern aesthetics with the intricate beauty of handmade craftsmanship. Under her leadership, the brand has evolved into a space where feedback from our community turns into a beautiful, tangible reality.
